My best professional achievement:

I designed a method for evaluating the uncertainty linked with soil distributions. It supports the reliability assessment for defence structures and landslides stability, thus an overall safety improvement for the exposed populations. The dissertation in which I presented the method was awarded as best PhD thesis by the Italian branch of the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment

My best personal achievement:

Twenty years after I met my husband we are still together, with two children, and still as happy as we were as teenagers
