My best professional achievement:
Research-wise: the creation of a catalogue of ontology design patterns and a set of methods for pattern-based ontology engineering has led to a new design paradigm for ontologies, linked data and knowledge graphs. Teaching-wise: shaping the future generation of Semantic Web-related researchers by bringing every year (as co-Director) the most promising 60 students and most prominent 18 researchers of the field at the International Semantic Web Research Summer School in Bertinoro.
My best personal achievement:
Doing the job I love, living the life I want.
