Mario Paolucci, PhD in “Telematics and Information Society”, is a researcher at LABSS (Laboratory for Agent Based Social Simulation, ISTC CNR (Institute for Cognitive Science and Technology), Rome, where he collaborates since 1999. He is studying and applying multiagent-based social simulation and agent theory to understand social artefacts, in particular Reputation, Norms, Responsibility, and the cultural evolutionary mechanisms that support them. His publications include a book on reputation with Rosaria Conte and articles on JASSS, Adaptive Behavior, the International Journal of Cooperative Information Systems, the International Journal of Approximated Reasoning, and Scientometrics.

Coordinating a group of 20 authors for the paper on FuturICT’s Living Earth Simulator.
